Where has time gone

Whew...I can hardly believe it is March already. I have had such lofty goals of posting more on this blog, but it seems like there are hardly enough hours in the day anymore. Brian and I went to the coast for Valentine's weekend, back to Surfrider Resort where we got engaged. It was a much needed get away. Brian's job has been keeping him busy and if that wasn't enough in late January we had Kitty distemper attack 2 of our cats. 1 cat, Tiger spent 3 days in the kitty hospital and his brother Grey Kitten managed to escape the hospital stay since the vet said we would go broke if had to hospitalize all the cats. They let us treat him at home, but it meant that both cats were kept in Quarantine in the house for almost 2 weeks. And since we were afraid the other cats might also get sick, they have all be quarantined inside the house since Tiger got sick. That is 7 cats in a rather small house. Getting away for a few days from the chaos was wonderful. Now we are on the road to getting them all re vaccinated and eventually freedom from them having to stay inside.

And that is coming none to soon, because the temp assignment I have been on since September of last year is finally coming to an end this week. I am not sure what is next. The job market in the Eugene/Springfield is horrible. Just today another large employer announced they were terminating almost all of their 2000 employees.... But my wonderful husband has faith that I will find another job soon. This is such a scary time for so many people, for our country, for our world. But I find solace in a Bible verse that reminds me that God is in control and He knows our future.

Jeremiah 29: 11-14 - 11
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. 13 You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, declares the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile.
