God is so good

Just yesterday I was writing about how I was expected a period of unemployment after my temp assignment at Epud was coming to an end. I had resolved that I was ok with that and that my faith was in God's providence that He had plan grander then me.

When I got into work this morning I got a call from my recruiter and amazingly they have another assignment for me starting on MONDAY!!! I feel so very blessed beyond measure and thankful that in this very turbulent and uncertain time God has so richly provided for us.

It reminds me of a verse that was shared with my family when my dad was so ill.

In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps. Proverbs 16:9

Oh, and I just have to share an incredible picture I took a few weeks back when we were out at the coast. It is of the light inside the Yaquina Head Lighthouse which we climbed to the top of. Not an easy climb. What I didn't realize until yesterday when I was working with the picture for a project at work was that I managed to get the reflection of the hill and coastline in the top of the picture.

MeriAnne,

I don't know if you remember me, but I used to lead a Common Ground small group with my husband, Tyler, and Amanda and Jeff. I have been stalking your blog for a very, very long time - lol.

This post really lifted my spirits today. I'm so glad God has shown Himself to be so miraculous in your life. He is amazing.
