November Adventures

I just realized it has been over a month since I posted anything. I knew we had been busy, but didn't realize just how. We are still slowing working on getting me unpacked. It is a challenge trying to fit all my stuff into a much smaller place, but slowly one box at a time we are getting there. My Cd's and DVD's are now nicely stored in the new bookcases we got. And slowly Brian is adding my music to his music server. It feels good to toss another empty box into the recycling bin. It gives me hope that someday I will be able to use the spare room as an actual room and not a storage place.

For Thanksgiving we went up to Seattle to have dinner with my mom's family. That was fun to see everyone. My Aunt Michelle made a fantastic turkey that was so incredibly moist. You could barely pick the meat up with a fork. I certainly ate too much that day. The next day we got to go visit my Grandma. She was unable to make the trip down for the wedding and she had not gotten to meet Brian yet. It was a very special visit and it was fun to share our wedding pictures with her.

I am still working on my "temp" assignment with Accountemps that started back in September. It now looks like I will be there until the end of January. I am very thankful that they have kept me on for so long. It has been a challenging job, while at the same time a lot of fun. I am still hoping that I might someday find permanent employment with this particular company.
