The at the beginning of September while I was up at my mom's and loading my trunk with more items to move, he jumped on the roof of my car while I was in the house and managed to shut the trunk on his rear foot. Cringe Cringe Cringe.. but luckily the weather stripping prevented any major damage to be down and he recovered pretty quickly.
Then just over a week ago my mom came home to discover that he had been in another cat brawl and this time lost big time. He had ripped his ear bad enough that both she and my sister felt a trip to the vet was necessary. (They were both afraid to call me with the news until they knew his condition.) Sadly the tear was bad enough the vet could not stitch it back up and he got to spend a night in the kitty hospital so they could clip his ear. :( :(
He will survive this recent ordeal, but his days of roaming free outside I think are probably over. And I really hope this is the last of his bad luck for the year... I am starting to wonder just how many lives he really has left.

I was so sorry to hear about Spot. I heard the story about him getting out last week just before you came up. Ugh! I hear his stitches will be coming out soon yes?

Loved seeing your snow pics! Burrrr I am not ready for that yet at all but it is beautiful.
Loved meeting the other kitties too. I'll try to get a couple pics sent your way soon as well.
