On Sunday, we had a leisurely morning and then set out to explore
Tillamook. Our fist stop was at
Munson Creek Falls. It is the highest waterfall on the Oregon Coast and was pretty impressive. Although when we turned down the road to the falls Brian and I wondered where we were headed. First it is a nicely paved road with a lane in each direction, then it becomes a wide gravel road and then a very narrow gravel road. But we finally arrived at the end of the road, er parking lot. It was a short fairly easy hike to the falls. However, sadly because of the winter storms several trees were down across the path so we couldn't go all the way.

Next we went to the
Tillamook Cheese Factory. What a busy busy place. Although not much cheese making was going on since it was Sunday. Just tons and tons of tourists. We got some ice cream and picked up some cheese from the store and headed on up the road.

Our next stop was
Rockaway Beach where we went and laid on the beach for a nap for awhile. There was someone flying a kite above us and I was able to snap this picture.

We then went back to the B&B to get our picnic lunch and then headed south to
Tierra Del Mar to sit on the beach and have dinner. While we were there the fog rolled in and soon most of the surrounding landscape was shrouded in fog.
