Wow, I can hardly believe it is now less then one week until our wedding. I can't begin to express how excited I am. But not so much for the wedding, but for finally being able to begin our new life together. No more 2 hour drives to see each other for just a few hours and we will actually be able to say good night in person instead of over the phone.
And because we have both been so stressed over the last few months with work related issues, we are both looking forward to spending a few days at the coast away from the craziness of life.
Yesterday was my bridal shower and that was alot of fun. I got lots of really pretty things and guess I will have to burn my old worn out night garments at last. I called Brian afterward and told him we might need to get me a bigger dresser. He laughed and said only if I promise to wear everything.
Today I took my rings in to have them attached together. It was sad to have to part with my sparkly, but I know that I will get it back and can't wait for Brian to put it on my finger next Saturday!!!!! In the meantime I may wear the temporary ring we got back in January. It just isn't as pretty or as special.
