In the backyard at my mom's is a very old very large cherry tree. It is loaded with blossoms right now...I hope that means lots of cherries in a few months.
Spot always has some story he has to tell me. Whenever I am outside taking pictures he can usually be found close under foot. Although trying to photograph him can be difficult. In this picture I think he was unhappy because it was so wet and cold outside. He really wants summer to come so he can lounge in the yard and roll in the dirt and become a brown cat again. With the nice weather over the weekend, he started getting a start on his summer brown tan.
Somehow a few years ago we ended up with Lupin in a couple of flower pots. Not sure how it got there but I sure love it early in the spring, especially right after it rains. It captures drops of rain so beautifully.
When I zoomed in closer on the above picture I couldn't believe all the detail in the reflection, including the clouds in the sky.
This weekend I am going down to Brian's and if the weather is as nice as they say it is going to be we are going to try and get out and get some exercise with our cameras in tow. Of course there will also be more painting to do. I am hoping to get the hallway done and the shelves that go in the spare room.
