Our first stop for the day was Camp 18.

It is a really cool restaurant and logging museum that my parents used to stop at on their way to the coast. It is at mile post 18 on Hwy 26. Outside are various old pieces of logging equipment.
Then we went on to Cannon Beach and walked out on the beach to see Haystack Rock.
And I got this great picture of Tillamook Rock Lighthouse.

This seagull came and landed just a few feet away from where we were sitting. I think he knew how much I love taking pictures of seagulls cause he seemed to pose for some of my shots.
Cape Disappointment
The last place we stopped at on Saturday was Cape Disappointment. My mom and I had been here a couple of years ago and hiked out the to the lighthouse. A hike I don't plan on doing again, but we got a great view of the lighthouse from the road out to the north jetty.

Brian found this cool formation on the side of the rock cliff near the lighthouse. If you look closely you can almost see a face.
Of course he was none to happy when he saw me with the camera pointed his way. :) He doesn't like having his picture taken.
But we had a really fun time just being together and the weekend came to an end to quickly.
